Utopian Secure Emerging Leaders Programme

Utopian Learning is delighted to announce that it has secured a new contract with Cooperation Ireland & Newry and Mourne Council to deliver accredited leadership training to over 90 learners starting in August 2020.

Utopian Learning CEO stated that "they were looking forward to once again be working alongside a leading peace organisation in supporting those people in the Newry and Mourne area with educational training and leadership skills."

The programme is due to start in September 2020.


Utopian Secure Community Leadership & Youth Development Accredited Training Programme

Utopian Learning is delighted to announce that it has secured a new contract with Cooperation Ireland & funded by Irish Foreign Affairs Department to deliver a leadership programme within the Loyalist communities living in Carrickfergus and Newtownabbey.

Utopian Learning CEO stated that "He was looking forward to supporting the delivery of a very important training programme and looked forward to supporting 24+ participants with their learning over the next year."

The programme is due to start in August 2020.

Mental Health Training begins Online

Utopian Learning has recently began delivering an online course in Empathetic Listening level 2 to 12 participants in the Causeway Coast & Glens area.

In response to the additional mental health support required to meet the demand caused by Covid-19, a number of local people have began learning how to support those who maybe struggling with their mental health.

Course tutor, Daphne Hanna explained that "being able to offer important courses such as Empathetic Listening to people online is vitally important in helping both our communities and our people recover form the negative impact of Covid- 19." 


Full Day Conference in Mindfulness for Citizens Advice England & Wales

Utopian Learning was delighted to deliver a 1 day master class in mindfulness to the staff of Citizens Advice England & Wales.

This provided a fantastic opportunity to support a number of front facing staff during the Covid-19 outbreak as they battled to keep front line support services open whilst being able to focus on their own overall well-being.
